Use of Respond Services requires acceptance of this Privacy
Policy in full. If you do not accept any aspect of this Policy
please do not use Respond Services.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 The terms below have the following definitions within this
Policy: Business - Any organisation that supplies products or
services to the Customer, or that acts as an agent for that
organisation.Customer - A user of the Publisher's website(s) that
provides information to, interacts with, or is referred to a
Business via the Service.Service - The provision of: (i) the
Software; (ii) access to the technological and commercial
relationships between Publishers and Businesses; (iii) the Respond
Product.
2. DATA COLLECTION
2.1 When using Respond Services Customers may be asked to
provide personal data relevant to the products or services they
have indicated an interest in. This may include items such as name,
phone number, email address, income and other personal and
financial information.
2.2 We will not sell or share any personal data about Customers
except when authorised to do so through our Customer
Terms of Service, or when required to do so by law.
2.3 Respond may also collect non-personally identifiable
Customer data via IP address, cookies or web beacons. This data
shall be used to optimise performance of the Service and to provide
comprehensive reporting as required. This data will not be used to
identify a specific person by Respond.
3. USE OF DATA
3.1 Use of Respond Services means Customers are authorising
Respond to share data with Businesses.
3.2 Data submitted to Respond may be checked against third party
databases for verification purposes, including but not limited to a
post code check.
3.3 In submitting data Customers authorise Businesses to make
contact by phone and/or email to provide information about relevant
products and services.
3.4 Respond has no control over how other Businesses may use
Customer data and is not responsible for any misuse.
3.5 Customers grant Respond and Businesses permission to make
contact for the purposes of fraud prevention and data
verification.
3.6 Respond may share information with organisations to help
detect and prevent fraud or other forms of crime.
4. SAFEGUARDS
4.1 Respond utilises industry standard measures to safeguard the
integrity of our Services and protection of our Customers' data.
Respond proactively works to counter threats including fraud, spam,
identity theft and other crimes and/or misuse.
4.2 Respond uses a range of technical security measures to
protect data that is submitted to us, both in transmission and in
storage.
4.3 Respond undertakes regular security reviews to test the
robustness of our systems and identify areas for improvement.
4.4 Transmission of information over the internet cannot be
guaranteed to be completely secure and whilst every effort is made
to keep data confidential Respond makes no warranty of the system
used to transmit data.
4.5. Customers should contact Respond if it believed that their
data has been compromised. As a result of an enquiry of this nature
Respond will investigate and aim to resolve the issue to the
Customer's satisfaction.
5. COMMUNICATIONS
5.1 Any communications between the Customer and Respond
regarding this Policy should be made in writing by email or
registered post.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Respond is not responsible for the practices of Businesses who
use its Services that may contact Customers regarding their
products and services after use of the Respond Service.
7. CHANGES
Respond may make changes to this Policy from time to time at its
sole discretion.
Please check this Policy regularly as any changes are effective
immediately upon being published on the Respond website.
Continued use of the Services constitutes the Customer's
acceptance of changes to this Policy.
